Commercial construction
Offices, retail stores, restaurants and clinics: we build and renovate commercial spaces that are solid, functional and compliant, from formwork to interior fit-out.
A commercial space has to open on time and work from day one. We coordinate the structure, the fit-out, the building systems and the building envelope, with a single project lead.

From structure to finishes, we handle every stage of your commercial project.
Wood, metal or insulated formwork for load-bearing walls, columns, beams, elevator shafts and underground parking. Accurate formwork ensures the dimensions and strength of the concrete structure.
For buildings with heavy loads (pallets, machinery, foot traffic): grading, compaction, geotextile and gravel, a power-trowelled reinforced slab, with options for radiant floor heating and dust-proofing treatment.
A prepared and compacted base, formwork, vibrated concrete for a uniform mass, a non-slip finish and proper curing to withstand freeze-thaw cycles.
Light, adaptable metal studs, fire-rated partitions and acoustic assemblies, suspended ceilings that integrate ventilation, electrical and lighting.
Two-ply elastomeric membrane, reflective white TPO membrane or metal roofing: each system is chosen for the building, its surroundings and the target energy performance.
Central or hybrid systems, air exchange and rooftop units, installed by specialized contractors we coordinate, for occupant comfort and air quality.
Water supply, code-compliant drainage and specialized plumbing for kitchens, clinics and labs, done by CMMTQ member contractors under our coordination.
Distribution, lighting and equipment connections, done by a CMEQ member master electrician and coordinated with the other trades.

Yes. We coordinate the plans with the professionals, the permit applications with you, the structural, envelope and fit-out work, the specialized subcontractors and the final handover. You have a single point of contact.
Yes, in most cases. The City of Montreal requires an occupancy permit (also called a certificate of occupancy) for a commercial activity in premises that are not a dwelling. An alteration permit may be required beforehand, in particular to fit out new premises or change the use. The application is made in the operator's name, with the borough, and requirements vary from one borough to another. We prepare the technical documents related to the work with you. In Quebec, an electrical contractor must be a member of the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec (CMEQ), and a plumbing and heating contractor a member of the Corporation des maîtres mécaniciens en tuyauterie du Québec (CMMTQ). As the general contractor, we coordinate these specialized contractors and their schedule on site.
As a guide, standard commercial premises (pharmacy, restaurant) generally take 3 to 6 months, permits included, and an office or medical centre project 8 to 12 months. The exact schedule is set out in the quote.
Yes: reflective TPO roofs that reduce cooling needs, high-performance insulation in interior systems, high-efficiency HVAC systems and water-saving plumbing.
Our prices are based on the current wage rates of the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ), set by the collective agreements for the sector concerned (residential, institutional and commercial, industrial), plus the materials and equipment specific to each job. Every quote is free, detailed and prepared after a site visit.
They are the work done in leased premises to adapt them to the occupant: partitions, ceilings, flooring, finishes. The lease often states who pays for them and who approves them. We price them from the plans or after a visit, with a quote that separates each package.
